Austral Archipelago
The Austral Islands are the southernmost islands of French Polynesia. There is a diving club and the opportunity to discover landscapes, dives and islands very different from those found in the north. It takes about 3 hours to get to the Austral Islands from Tahiti. The islands are well connected by plane and it is easy to explore one or more of them on a trip to French Polynesia.
Rurutu
A timeless island, without a lagoon, which becomes the home of the majestic humpback whales between August and October. The island is filled with caves that are easy to explore! This destination is also perfect for hiking, on foot or on horseback.
Tubai
Magnificent island surrounded by a lagoon, located more than 600km south of Tahiti. Here, we find the southernmost dive sites of Polynesia! The water is a little cooler. The whales stay there from August to October.
